Hey there !

There is always a first time for everything. I have learnt many things by experimenting, stumbling, making mistakes and then surprising myself with a modicum of success.
I am from India, lucky to be born and brought up in Rourkela Steel City - a fine tapestry of Indian culture. I followed my husband to Dubai in 1992 and was lucky again to find this beautiful melting pot of International culture adding a unique flavour to the rich, local Arab traditions.
I have been an educationist by profession for more than three decades. Most of those years being with schools in Sharjah, UAE.
As a working mother, I believed in ‘doing it all’ and have two lovely children ( well, adults now) who were the guinea pigs of my parenting firsts. A fine young man joined our family in 2015 so, now I am glad to have three guinea pigs. 
I love to read, sing, paint and cook( not necessarily in that order).
So, here I am, happy to share some of my thoughts, experiences and ideas with you.
